For scientific integrity, most researchers are governed by the 2018 Netherlands Code of Conduct for Research Integrity. What are your experiences with that code and what should be modified in a subsequent version?
A review of the code is currently under way and the committee is keen to engage with users. Subjects that will receive specific attention in that review are transparency about ancillary activities and external funding and independence. Two meetings will be held in November for scientists from universities, universities of applied science, academic hospitals and other research institutes.
Share your experiences
If you are unable to attend the meetings, but would still like to share your experiences about the usefulness of the code, please e-mail to evaluatieNGWI@knaw.nl. Needless to say, the committee cannot deal with your personal case.
