The Dutch Annual Virology Symposium (DAVS) offers young and established virologists a platform to present their research. You are most welcome to attend this symposium. It is also possible to only visit the Beijerinck Award Ceremony.
Beijerinck Lecture
Professor Wendy Barclay is Action Medical Research Chair in Virology and Head of the Department of Infectious Disease at Imperial College London and will deliver this Beijerinck Lecture. She is an acknowledged expert in the field of respiratory viruses. Her ground-breaking studies have greatly advanced our basic understanding of Influenza A virus replication as well as of the viral adaptations required for cross-species transmission.
